Effective 2026-10-08

Posted 2026-10-01 · effective 2026-10-08. This revision updates sections 1, 4, 8. Anything paid for or used before that date stays under the previous version.

This English version is a reference translation of the Korean original; if the two differ, the Korean version prevails. Oneurui Sijang Hannune ("we") processes your personal information in accordance with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act while providing the Haebomdang saju service (the "service"). This policy explains what we process, why, for how long and where.

1. Information we process

• For chart calculation: date of birth, time of birth (optional), solar or lunar calendar, gender, and place of birth (to calculate longitude)

• About the other person: for the compatibility, reunion and what-they-feel readings, the other person’s date of birth, time of birth (optional), solar or lunar calendar, gender and place of birth (to calculate longitude) that you enter, or only their year of birth. We do not collect their name or contact details. For the reunion reading we also process the tarot cards you draw (card, position, upright or reversed), and for the what-they-feel reading the relationship status you choose (a spark, a one-sided crush, together, or after a break-up).

• One line about what is on your mind (optional): a single line you may type before a reading. It is reflected in the reading. We do not store the text on our servers; we keep only an identifier (a hash) so that the same line re-opens the same reading. The reading itself is stored, so we instruct the model never to quote or repeat your wording and to reflect only what it is about.

• Sign-in: the member identifier, nickname, profile photo (optional) and email (if provided) supplied by Kakao or Google sign-in, or the email address you enter if you sign in with email verification

• Payment records: payment number, product, amount, payment status, and the payment result returned by the payment service provider (payment method type, card issuer, partially masked card number, approval number, receipt information and the like). Full card numbers, expiry dates and PINs are handled by the payment service provider; we never receive or store them.

• Buyer details entered in the payment window: name and mobile number. These are required by the card networks; they are passed to the payment service provider when the payment window opens and are not stored on our servers. If you are signed in, your account email address is passed along as well; if your account has no email address (for example, when you pay without signing in), the payment window on a computer (PC) asks for an email for your receipt and passes it along. To save you retyping them, the name, mobile number and email are remembered only on your own device (Article 8).

• Usage records: balance credits and usage, whether you have used the free preview, the readings generated, and your use of the free daily reading (date, chart identifier and the result)

• We do not store your raw birth details on our servers. To show the same reading again and to avoid charging twice for the same reading, we store only an identifier (a hash) derived from the chart, the other person’s details and the cards, together with the reading. Because this identifier can be matched against the original input to tell which input it came from, we treat it as personal information and protect it to the same standard as other personal information. Information kept on your device (browser) is described in section 8.

2. Purposes

Calculating your chart and providing AI readings (including the other person's details and tarot cards for the compatibility and reunion readings), sign-in and account identification, processing, confirming, cancelling and refunding per-reading payments, handling the use and refund of balance added before, preventing abuse, and answering inquiries.

3. Retention and destruction

We delete your information without delay when you close your account. However, under the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce we keep records of contracts, withdrawals, payment and supply for 5 years and records of consumer complaints and dispute handling for 3 years.

Destruction procedure: we destroy personal information without delay once its retention period ends or it is no longer needed for its purpose. Records we must keep by law are stored separately from other personal information and destroyed without delay when that period ends.

Destruction method: personal information in electronic files is permanently deleted from the database so that it cannot be restored or reproduced. Any personal information printed on paper is shredded or incinerated.

4. Processors and international transfers

We entrust the processing of personal information to the companies below to run the service, and some of it is transferred abroad for processing (Article 28-8 of the Korean Personal Information Protection Act). Transfers take place whenever you use the service, over an encrypted network (HTTPS). The destination country, contact, items transferred, purpose and retention for each company are as follows.

• Supabase Inc. (Sydney, Australia region; privacy@supabase.com) — Items: member identifier and email, balance and payment records, identifiers (hashes) of the chart, the other person’s details, the cards and the line about what is on your mind, the readings, and your daily reading records and results. Purpose: storing account and payment records and readings. Retained until you close your account or the legal retention period ends

• Vercel Inc. (United States; privacy@vercel.com) — Items: the requests exchanged while you use the service (inputs such as birth details, the other person’s details and the cards, IP address and browser information). Purpose: website hosting and request handling. Retained for the log retention period after processing

• Anthropic PBC (United States; privacy@anthropic.com) — Items: chart calculation results (including the other person’s chart calculation results, for the reunion reading their year of birth and the tarot cards, and for the what-they-feel reading the relationship status) and the line you typed about what is on your mind; no names or contact details are sent. Purpose: generating AI readings. Retained briefly under the provider’s policy

• Kakao Corp. (Korea), Google LLC (United States; policies.google.com/privacy) — social sign-in authentication. Items: the member identifier and email exchanged during sign-in

• Google LLC (United States, policies.google.com/privacy) — Google AdSense advertising on the free screens. Items transferred: access data for the screen showing the ad (IP address, browser information, cookies and advertising identifiers). Purpose: ad selection and measurement. Retention: per the provider’s policy

• Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States, www.facebook.com/privacy/policy) — measurement for Instagram and Facebook ads (the Meta pixel). Items transferred: access data for the screen you arrived on from an ad (IP address, browser information, cookies), and the fact that a payment completed together with its amount and product name. Birth details and reading content are not sent. Purpose: ad measurement and audience selection. Retention: per the provider’s policy

• Payments: PortOne (Korea PortOne Co., Ltd.) — payment integration and payment result lookup. Items transferred: payment number, product name and amount, and the buyer’s name, mobile number and email address (required by the card networks). KakaoPay Corp. — KakaoPay payments (not yet open; no information is passed before it opens)

• KG Inicis Co., Ltd. — credit and debit card processing. Items transferred: payment number, product name and amount, the buyer’s name, mobile number and email address, and card authorisation data.

If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can stop using the service and ask us to close your account, but you will then be unable to use the service.

5. Your rights

You may at any time ask to access, correct, delete or suspend the processing of your personal information, or to close your account. Contact us using the details below and we will act without delay.

6. Children under 14 and protection of minors

The service is not intended for children under 14; if we learn that a user is under 14, we delete their information.

We do not provide any content that constitutes youth-harmful media under the Korean Juvenile Protection Act.

7. Security measures

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level access control in the database, server-only storage of administrator keys, and least-privilege access.

8. Automatic collection tools: installation, operation and refusal

We use only cookies the service needs to work, such as the authentication cookie that keeps you signed in. The free parts of the service (the free saju chart, the daily fortune and the zodiac fortune) show Google AdSense ads, and Google and its advertisers may use cookies and advertising identifiers to select those ads and measure them. No ads appear on product pages (including the free preview), on the payment screen or inside a reading you paid for. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or block cookies in your browser.

While we are running Instagram and Facebook ads, the Meta pixel also loads. It reports visits that arrived from an ad and the fact that a payment completed (with its amount and product name) to Meta so we can measure how the ads perform; it does not send your birth details or the content of a reading. If you would rather not have this, you can turn it off in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or block cookies in your browser.

For your convenience, your device (browser storage: localStorage and sessionStorage) keeps the birth details you last entered, the birthday used for the daily reading, the other person’s details and cards you were choosing for the reunion reading, a record of the details and cards of reunion readings you have received, the relationship status and the other person’s details chosen for the what-they-feel reading, the line about what is on your mind, and the screen to return to after a payment or identity verification window. These values stay on your device and are not sent to our servers; the return information for payments and identity verification disappears after 30 minutes or when you close the tab. The name, mobile number and email for the payment window are remembered the same way — on your device only, never on our servers. If you enter a name for the free preview to call you by, it is also kept only on this device and is never sent to our servers or to the AI that writes readings.

How to refuse: you can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings (for example, Settings > Privacy and security in Chrome, or Settings > Privacy in Safari). If you block the authentication cookie you cannot use payments and readings that require sign-in, and if you clear site data the inputs and reunion card records on your device are lost, so you can no longer reopen a reunion reading you bought with the same cards.
